October is Community Safety Month.
The City of Belmont Community Safety and Crime Prevention Team will be having a display in Faulkner Park, at the side of the Ruth Faulkner Library on Monday 21 October 2013, 10am until 2pm.
The City will be promoting all of its Community Safety and Crime Prevention Initiatives which include:
- BeCrimeAlert – free security alerts sent by SMS or email
- Free Security Appraisals – which includes a padlock alarm, window shock sensors and a solar powered safety light
- The City of Belmont Community Watch Patrol Service
- The Alarm Assist Program – Low cost alarms and monitoring for residents and businesses within the City
- Neighbourhood Watch
